Student Presentation Opportunities
We welcome all students interested in sharing their work to present their completed or in-progress psychological studies. This is a valuable opportunity for students to showcase their research, receive constructive feedback, and enhance their presentation skills.
Showcase Completed Projects
If you have completed a project or study, consider presenting it to your peers. Sharing your findings not only highlights your hard work but also encourages academic engagement and discussion.
Receive Feedback on In-Progress Work
Students with ongoing projects are also encouraged to present their work. Engaging with an audience at this stage can provide valuable insights and feedback to help refine your research before finalizing your study or dissertation project.
Practice Presentation Skills
Presenting in a local meeting offers the perfect setting for students to practice and improve their presentation skills. This experience serves as excellent preparation for presenting to larger audiences in the future.
Formal Judged Poster Presentation Guidelines
Only completed undergraduate projects will be included in the formal judged poster presentation. While participation in the judged session is limited to completed undergraduate studies, we strongly encourage undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students to present their work in other formats to gain invaluable feedback from peers and faculty.
For the poster presentation, students may bring printed posters or save their presentation as a PowerPoint slide on a USB drive. Please confirm your preferred mode of presentation in advance so that we can ensure the necessary equipment is available and prepared.
