Program Description:
This presentation will introduce special topics that arise in the treatment of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. The special topics covered will include differential diagnosis (with a special focus on mental compulsions v.s rumination), adapting treatment and working with accommodations for children, and emerging techniques in treating OCD.

About the Presenters:
Dr. Ohr has over 15 years experience treating OCD and related disorders. She has been in private practice in New Hampshire for over 10 years. She was clinical faculty at the Center for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine working under the direct supervision of Dr. Edna Foa and Dr. David Yusko. She has trained mental health providers, medical residents, and psychology interns in the treatment of anxiety disorders.
Kerin Riley is a licensed marriage and family therapist in NH, VT, MA and an Adjunct Faculty at the Geisel School of Medicine Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Department. She has worked with individuals and families with OCD as a presenting problem for 8 years. Kerin has completed advanced training in the Yale SPACE treatment, SPACE ARFID, and SPACE FTL, including consultation with Eli Lebowitz and Yaara Shimshoni. She has also completed advanced training in treating OCD through CBI, CABT, and the IOCDF BTTI for pediatric and adult populations.
Bobbie Glidden, LICSW has been providing treatment for OCD and related disorders for over 15 years through private practice in Portsmouth, NH. She is licensed in NH, Maine and Massachusetts. She has extensive training in CBT, DBT, and ERP. She is BTTI trained through IOCDF. She has presented trainings in Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Dialectal Behavior Therapy at Health and Education Services, as well as creating and facilitating a DBT focused day treatment program for complex trauma. She has a special interest in rumination and mental compulsions in OCD.

NHPA prices workshops by CE credit hour:
$25.00 per CE for members; $35.00 per CE for non-members
Group Rates Available:
3 - 5 people = $15 off workshop cost per individual (member/non-member)
6 - 8 people = $20 off workshop cost per individual (member/non-member)
8 + people = $25 off workshop cost per individual (member/non-member)

Paying with a check:
Checks must be received within one week of the event. If payment has not been received, registrant will still have option to pay online with a credit card up until the day before the program. If an invoice remains open on the day of the event, the registrant will not be allowed to attend.
Cancellation policy:
Refunds, minus a 10% cancellation fee, will be issued for all cancellations received two weeks prior to the start of the course. No refunds or vouchers will be made thereafter. No-shows are not refunded.
Attendance policy:
Full attendance is required to obtain CEs per NHPA policy. No partial credit will be given. Those who attend the workshop and complete the evaluation form will receive 3 continuing education credits. Please note that APA CE rules require that we only give credit to those who attend the entire workshop. Those arriving after the scheduled start time or leaving before the workshop is completed will not receive CE credits.
Registrations are Transferable:
Registrants can transfer an event confirmation to another individual. The NHPA office must be notified of the transfer at least 24 hours prior to the event.
